As your flight approaches Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be greeted by the awe-inspiring vistas of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru. A warm welcome awaits you as a representative meets you at arrivals and escorts you to the delightful Venice Hotel in Arusha.

Here, our safari coordinator will provide a comprehensive briefing on your exciting journey ahead. Savor a delectable home-cooked meal, served either in the elegant dining room or on the terrace with panoramic views. If you arrive in the afternoon or morning, you’ll also have the chance to embark on a city tour with our knowledgeable guide.

Tour Plan

Day Arusha City to Machame Route, Mount Kilimanjaro

Prepare for an exhilarating day hike to Machame Camp! A scenic drive of approximately 35 km (about 45 minutes to an hour) from Moshi will bring you to Machame Gate. After completing registration and securing your permit, your hike will commence. You’ll cover 11 km to Machame Camp (22 km round trip), with each leg of the trek taking around 4-5 hours.

Immerse yourself in the enchanting montane forest, renowned for its distinctive flora, including the rare Impatiens Kilimanjaro, which blooms exclusively on Mount Kilimanjaro. Watch for Blue Monkeys and Black-and-White Colobus Monkeys as you traverse this captivating natural landscape.
